Who we are

Simulate It is operated by Audrey Liu ("we", "us"). Audrey Liu is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — meaning we decide how and why your data is used.

What data we collect

  • Account data: your email address and sign-in credentials.
  • Content you upload: photos and short videos of your sports stroke, and the sport you tell us it is.
  • Feedback data: the AI-generated coaching feedback saved with each review.
  • Usage data: basic technical information such as your browser type and IP address, used to keep the service secure.

Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are collected and processed by our payment provider Paddle, not by us.

Why we use it

  • To create and manage your account (legal basis: performing our contract with you).
  • To analyze your stroke and save your reviews so you can look back at them (contract performance).
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To improve the product (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and run the app (cloud hosting, database, file storage, and the AI service that writes your feedback).
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who handles the sale, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers (such as accountants) and authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and reviews while your account is active. You can delete any review (and its photo or video) at any time from the app. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, contact us through the support option in the app. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; we will respond to requests within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — so that only you can see your own uploads and reviews.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies and storage needed to keep you signed in and make the app work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
